The Central and Northern Drakensberg offers a number of different options for functions and events.
The bigger hotels and resorts in the area generally offer comprehensive wedding and conference
packages. There are also options available for smaller or more budget conscious functions. And for the
very adventurous, we will be happy to brainstorm ideas as wild (elopers getting married on top of the
mountain) or as dramatic (a silver service banquet in the foothills of the mountains with a Zulu choir)
as the Drakensberg itself.

Accommodation for larger functions will generally be hosted at the
hotel or resort itself to a maximum of approximately 600 delegates.
Various other accommodation options exist which can be viewed at
the Central Drakensberg Information Centre's website.

Banqueting Venues in the larger resorts have most facilities including
data projectors, breakaway rooms and stages. Capacities vary with
maximum banqueting style seating capabilities reaching 260 delegates
(with round tables & dance floor). Obviously requirements vary
extensively so contact us with your requests and we will get you the
best possible space for your event.

There are 5 Chapels with exquisite berg views in the Central &
Northern Drakensberg. Also near the towns in the area, set back
from the main Drakensberg range, you will find quaint country
churches.
