| Tablebay Newfoundlands was established in the United Kingdom 1990. We relocated to South Africa in 1998, bringing with us 3 Newfoundlands from the world renowned Merrybear Kennel of Gordon Cutts and Patrick Galvin. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Our
successful show career started with Ch UK Merrybear Einar who was a Best in Show winner at the 3 day All Breed Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show with an entry of 7000 dogs. He then in South Africa went on to win multiple Best in Show titles and the prestigious title of KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa) National Dog by winning Best in Show at the KUSA National event in 1999. This is the first time in breed history that a Newfoundland has been a multi Best in Show winner and proudly holds the KUSA National title. |

We have subsequently gone on to produce numerous Champions and have produced the No 1 Working Dog (all breeds ratings) - Multi BIS Int Ch Tablebay Aces High, making Tablebay the top winning Newfoundland Kennel in South Africa since our arrival in 1998. This has only been achieved by the import of new bloodlines on a regular basis in order to produce dogs of true type, temperament and soundness. |
